The Flocktown Kossmann PTA is thrilled to organize and fund once-in-a-lifetime opportunities such as visits from the people who write the stories our children read and love. Authors share their work and creative process. Events vary every year for each school and are scheduled throughout the entire school year. Children get to listen and ask questions and interact with the author. Information will be posted regarding these visits as the information becomes available.
Books can be purchased at Smile.Amazon.com and autographed at each event. Amazon.com will donate a portion of all purchases to our PTA.
Our PTA donates a book to each classroom and school library, so everyone gets a chance to read these great books!
Upcoming Author Visits:
March 19, 2020: Kossmann Elementary, K-2
Tara Lazar: Author of “Little Red Gliding Hood”, “The Monstore” and many more, visits grades K-2
For Autographs: Books can be purchased via smile.amazon.com (select Flocktown-Kossmann PTA). Then, just bring it to school on March 19 for Tara to autograph.
April 16, 2020: Flocktown Elementary, 3-5:
Lizzie K. Foley: Author of the novel, “Remarkable”, visits grades 3-5. For Autographs, purchase “Remarkable” via “smile.amazon.com” (select Flocktown-Kossmann PTA). Then, just bring it to school on April 16 for an autograph.
